Lines. Same with rare earths, where too often environmentalists want it all ways. If we intend to become dependent on green energy, we at a minimum cannot remain reliant on China for necessary inputs. We should (and can) develop our own sources domestically. But at a minimum, we should not remain reliant, not one minute longer than necessary, on an adversary against whom we have a significant risk of fighting a war. Within the next few years, if it’s going to happen, imo.
